Web Platform Privacy Settings

You can manage your privacy preferences for the OPPS web platform (https://www.opps.ae and https://app.opps.ae) through your account settings:

  • Account Information: Update your personal information, email address, and contact details in your account settings.
  • Marketing Communications: Control whether you receive promotional emails, newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • Data Sharing: Manage how your data is shared with third-party service providers and business partners.
  • Profile Visibility: Control who can see your profile information and activity on the platform.
  • Cookie Preferences: Manage your cookie settings through our Cookie Policy page or browser settings.

To access these settings, log in to your account at app.opps.ae and navigate to Settings > Privacy.

Android App Privacy Settings

The OPPS Android app respects your privacy and provides you with control over your data. Here's how to manage your privacy settings:

Device Permissions

  • Location Services: Control location access for property search and map features. Go to Settings > Apps > OPPS > Permissions > Location.
  • Camera Access: Manage camera permissions for uploading property photos. Go to Settings > Apps > OPPS > Permissions > Camera.
  • Storage Access: Control file access for saving property documents and images. Go to Settings > Apps > OPPS > Permissions > Storage.
  • Notifications: Manage push notifications for property updates and messages. Go to Settings > Apps > OPPS > Notifications.

In-App Privacy Settings

  • Account Privacy: Navigate to Profile > Settings > Privacy to control profile visibility and data sharing.
  • Marketing Preferences: Toggle marketing communications on/off in Settings > Notifications > Marketing.
  • Data Collection: Review and manage analytics and usage data collection in Settings > Privacy > Data Collection.
  • Ad Personalization: Control personalized advertising in Settings > Privacy > Ad Preferences.

Google Play Services

The OPPS Android app uses Google Play Services for certain features. You can manage Google's data collection through your Google Account settings:

  • Go to your Google Account settings (myaccount.google.com)
  • Navigate to Data & Privacy
  • Review and manage app permissions and data sharing

iOS App Privacy Settings

The OPPS iOS app is designed with privacy in mind. Here's how to manage your privacy settings on iPhone and iPad:

Device Permissions

  • Location Services: Control location access for property search and map features. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > OPPS.
  • Camera Access: Manage camera permissions for uploading property photos. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera > OPPS.
  • Photo Library: Control access to your photos for selecting property images. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > OPPS.

  • Tracking: Control app tracking and cross-app tracking. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > OPPS.

  • Account Privacy: Navigate to Profile > Settings > Privacy to control profile visibility and data sharing.
  • Marketing Preferences: Toggle marketing communications on/off in Settings > Notifications > Marketing.
  • Data Collection: Review and manage analytics and usage data collection in Settings > Privacy > Analytics.
  • Ad Personalization: Control personalized advertising in Settings > Privacy > Advertising.

Apple Privacy Features

The OPPS iOS app integrates with Apple's privacy features:

  • App Tracking Transparency: The app will request permission before tracking your activity across other apps and websites.
  • Privacy Nutrition Labels: View our App Privacy details in the App Store to see what data we collect and how it's used.
  • Sign in with Apple: Use Apple's secure authentication option when available.

Data Management

You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal data:

  • Access Your Data: View all personal information we have collected about you through your account settings or by contacting us.
  • Update Your Data: Modify your personal information directly in your account settings on the web platform or mobile apps.
  • Delete Your Account: Request account deletion through Settings > Account > Delete Account, or contact us at info@opps.ae.
  • Export Your Data: Request a copy of your data in a portable format by contacting our support team.

Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

Our mobile apps may use third-party services that collect information:

  • Analytics Services: We use analytics tools to understand app usage and improve our services. You can opt-out through your device settings or app preferences.
  • Cloud Storage: Your data may be stored on secure cloud servers. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your information.
  • Payment Processors: Payment information is processed securely by third-party payment providers and is not stored on our servers.
  • Push Notification Services: We use push notification services (Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android, Apple Push Notification Service for iOS) to deliver notifications.

Children's Privacy

Our Services, including mobile apps, are not intended for individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at info@opps.ae.
